This has been found before. It works because the tiles you run across take up the bottom half of a square, and as the thwump can only move through empty tiles, the thwump doesn't register the ninja.

Ice Climbers are awesome. Deal with it.

Yah, its a well known glitch, but fairly cool. You can use it to make jump-trigger thwumps in the right circumstances :P

That's just a NaN'ed thwump as opposed to the 5 tile glitch. The thwump doesn't move at all, regardless of ninja position.
What I mean by that is, even without the 5 tiles, the thwump is already NaN'ed, hence it won't move nor kill. --Except on it's right side, I just noticed that with some testing.

You must have done something inadvertent when pasting it into the editor because the thwump is not NaN'ed and works fine if you jump into its sensing area. Perhaps you accidentally pressed 'L' without clicking away from the map data window?

I'm working on a Ned tricks and code manipulation, and I have included this glitch. It will be based on Manual Nediting thread that was on the old forum. Expect it in this month.

I thought it will be good if I post file of finished progress, so you can find it here. In this file there's no glitch you have mentioned here. When I finish it it I will create a thread where I will include files so everybody can open it, so far ony *.docx (I used Word 2007)

EDIT: I JUST GOT AN IDEA TO MAKE A THREAD NOW AND PUT FINISHED PROGRESS, BUT I DIDN'T WANT TO REMOVE IT FROM THIS THREAD EVEN I MADE IT
