Because I really want to go play the Team Fortress 2 update and whatnot, I might cut this short. Osu! is an Elite Beat Agents Clone, I've never actually played Elite Beat Agents, but if it is anything like this, I might just have to. Erm, here's a link to start off with, I'll provide pictures and shtuff later.

Osu!

Here, have of one of the crazier songs in the game. It's a good song, just.. hard. The guy has sound playing though, so it kind of ruins it. IOSYS - Marisa wa Taihen na Mono wo Nusunde Ikimashita

You're all lucky I dislike double posting, Here, have a picture. Also, I really want someone to play this with me, the game is absolutely amazing, and if you like rhythm games then you should really give this a shot, I mean hell, it has Co-Op for up to 8 players.. that's crazy. Anyway, here's one of mu scores on a song I was playing. It says my accuracy is 70% or so.. but I think it's smoking something fierce.

Also, I'm using a custom skin, the game is skinnable out the wazoo, and you can create your own beatmaps, A.K.A. in game music, with it's included in game editor. Once installing the game, if you choose to, open the Osume.exe application within the folder that Osu! was installed into and go to the extras tab, to your surprise there will be a very large list of skins for you to bask in and use as much as you want.

Here's yet another picture, this is my end results of one of the 3 modes of play. There's Normal, Taiko, and Catch the Beat. I was playing Catch the Beat..

Oh, also, the game is Windows and iPhone only...for now.

Even though I shouldn't feel special, I don't care... Look at my rank.

Look. I'm #3 in this song. I would've gotten higher if I didn't have these damned nervous ticks. I rolled my eyes, and lost my 425 note combo... ;_;.

And seriously, you all need to play this. I mean, it has multiplayer.

It's a rhythm based action game in similar vain to Elite Beat Agents, in the same genre as Guitar Hero, Tap Tap Revenge, Donkey Konga and Rock Band.

why is it that only a few mistakes make you fail? I swear this game is stupidly hard >_>

Okay what the fuck, the balance on this is totally off, I get two notes wrong and it's failure. >_>

EDIT2: okay, on the blurry click ones, when the hell do you click?!

EDIT3: The balance on this game is completely off. You can very easily get the meter right to the top, but it also takes a stupidly low amount of messing up to fail completely. Good game, fucked up settings.

Stop freaking whining, you don't have to come back to this topic and whine some more, so just stop. The guys who make the songs do it like that, and it's not a problem for me. Maybe you need to stop playing Solo and play one of the special modes like Taiko or Catch the Beat. Also, Blurry click ones? Very descriptive, take a screenshot or something, maybe I can help.

Okay, after downloading a dozen songs, it seems that the difficulty 'normal' varied enourmously, and some were just made far better than others.

There are three types of moves yes? click, click + drag, spin. The click one has a circle that gradually shrinks. Only these have lots of circles that blur with each other gradually getting smaller so it confuses me.

Normal varies from song to song, a fast song (DragonForce) would be different to something slow.

indeed I have found lots of nice songs to play now, that I don't have to retry every 10 seconds :)

I'm wanting to try elite beat agents now :(

I've played Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan (the original) quite a lot, and playing with the mouse is the most unwieldy thing in the world. I tried it on my sister's tablet PC but the response time wasn't fast enough.

Totally import the 2 DS games, they're a lot better, with full dancing animations and a storytelling comic at the beginning of each song, and they're portable. You don't need to know any Japanese.
