So, yeah, this is a placeholder for people to post about the game. I for one want to play it with you all on the mod known as Median XL. So yeah...erm... want a picture of the mod?

Oh god what's happening?

And here, have another.

This is my friend's level 60 Assassin. Notice the damage? That's part of Median, and even with damage like that, the mod is hard, and believe me, that's not a bad thing. The Diablo 2 Patch.mpq, which is basically the file that contains all of the items and whatnot, is about 2 MB. Well the patch.mpq for Median XL is a whopping 112 MB. That's 56 times the normal content in the game. Also, it's compatible with the Expansion...of course, why wouldn't it be?

A little heads up. I may play Diablo 2 tonight. I'm not sure what the time will be, but yeah, just saying.

I'm all in for this.

I'm currently on vanilla expansion but I can go with median XL as long as everyone else is okay with it. *scythe33 is the account to add to your /f l, and you'll probably see me as spireoffury_hax.

Alrighty, gents. We're gonna start ramping this up for the 1.13 patch. It's coming out sometime within the near future, and I'll be keeping people updated until it launches.

Poptarts
LF
southpaw - Lycanthropy Druid
SlappyMcGee
Jiggerjaw
Kablizzy - Summoner Necromancer
Sept - Trapsin / MAssassin
Scythe - Lightning / Lightning-Orb Sorceress
rocket_thumped
Guiseppi

I believe USeast is gonna be the best for the vast majority of you guys, and I want to see what everyone wants to make when the ladder resets and when the patch drops. I'll likely do a Summoner Necro, or perhaps an Orb Sorc as my primary, ladder-climbing character. This might also change, as those are usually my go-to archetypes, and I might want to see what else is out there too.

I tend to start with a light sorc or a light-orb sorc. I'll have decided by the time the season starts, I figure, unless the patch introduces changes that makes something else a far more attractive option.

I think for the ladder reset, I'll either make a phoenix strike assassin, or a trap assassin.
