Topic says it all.
Majora's Mask is worlds better in my opinion. So many tasty sidequests, an excellent mask system, and such epic dungeons. Water Temple anyone? Holy crap, I siezured at it's awesomeness.

I'm waiting for LoZ:MM:MQ.
I'm playing LoZ:OoT:MQ because I've beaten everything else.

I can't believe there are so many Majora's Mask lovers in this thread. I mean, I agree but I normally catch for much flack for that opinion.

My first thought was OoT.rennaT wrote:I can't believe there are so many Majora's Mask lovers in this thread. I mean, I agree but I normally catch for much flack for that opinion.
But I decided to select MM.
Now I think of OoT again.
Come again, Tanner?

You all and your silly acronyms. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is the way to go.

Majora's Mask. It's a deeper game than Ocarina of Time, and i generally enjoyed it more. playing through OoT at the moment though, retro consoles ftw.

How do you know that God didn't intend for humans to be the animals' caretakers? He might be appalled that He gave us these animals to use and we're fucking eating them. - Tsukatu

I consider Majora's Mask to be the retarded cousin of the series that had more of an afterthought than much of a plot. It was too riddled with short-term goals that were too easily achieved, so I can see how it would appeal more to gamers with ADHD. Far as I was concerned, the main story was Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask is "this other shit that also happened after the world was saved, but nobody really cared."
Ocarina of Time was fucking epic. Majora's Mask was just... weird.

I voted for Ocarina of Time, since it is quite certainly a better game than Majora's Mask. I can't imagine thinking otherwise, unless you're viewing art in a vacuum or something.
But I rank them both relatively low in the Zelda canon; A Link to the Past is the best game in the series. The only games I can think of as worse than Majora's Mask are the first two games, and that Four Swords shit.

OOT for sure. The masks were interesting, but the story, and the saving system and, well, the masks were just fucking rediculous. That and it felt wrong that there was no ocarina.

You know, that's one hell of a typo then considering you've been calling the game OoC in every post you've made in this topic.. At least correct yourself or something.Tunco123 wrote:*OoT.Tsukatu wrote:You're the only one saying OOC.Tunco123 wrote:OOC FTW FTW OK?

What. In. The. Fucking. Bullshit. Hell. Have you even played the game for more then 45 minutes?squibbles wrote:OOT for sure. The masks were interesting, but the story, and the saving system and, well, the masks were just fucking retarded. That and it felt wrong that there was no ocarina.
Also: The amsk system gave a lot of room for innovation, of sorts. You couldn't do half the things without delicious masks.
