The length is how long you would like to spend to finish the map. Be it all-golding or speed-running or just taking your time and/or playing around a bit.
How long would you like the map to be?

2000+ if you're playing with it, but I'd prefer not to spend too long, and 1600 frames is a lot of time to play with anyways.

The title should read: what's your favourite map length. As it is it's just silly.

Even then. I couldn't answer that. Even if I did keep track of the frame count of my favourite maps, the results would completely depend on how I had played them. And I don't judge which maps are my favourites by how long they take to play.atob wrote:The title should read: what's your favourite map length. As it is it's just silly.

Same here. I remember one jump-only map that had various submitted 19000+ frame demos for and it was rated 5/5 by, like, twenty-five people.Condog wrote:I would be happy to play a map for 10,000+ frames if it was fun. NV.

It really depends on the map.
Puzzle map? 1000 frames
Micro map? <300 frames
Minejumper? 3000 frames
Action? ~2000 frames
And even that can be broken down further.
Action concept? <1000 frames
Action difficult? >1800 frames.

Special maps = Floorguard Jumper, Abstract Race, Tile/Mine Jumper + Action, Unfinished DDA (respectively)
