Shit, man... if you threw yourself into video game design with as much fervor as you do with participation in said video games and online forums, you'd have multiple video game producers fighting to have you as a lead designer.

People always say that WOW is addictive, but I have come to realize it does not matter. As soon as I stopped playing WOW i got addicted to another game...

I got my first piece of PvP gear the other day. http://www.wowarmory.com/item-info.xml?i=20101

It may seem strange that I have gear that requires I be 1 lvl higher, but in the new patch, the required lvl is 38 for that one. At least I think that's a change from the patch.

I finally updated THE LIST. :]

I think now is a good time to talk about the patch.

Im completely screwed over right now because apparently I have an outdated video driver so I cant see the pictures of my attacks or spells and the skins behind menus. I downloaded the thing that the WoW forums said to and that wont install right. Then I tried to look up the problem to the installation and came up with nothing. Sad day. I dont have time to fiddle with it right now because Im going on a trip for a few days.

But yah Im happy with the new patch. Mages got buffed a bit and I think the cost of my next mount got decreased. Yay. :D

Is this the patch where they also changed the look of the druids bear and cat form?

I also heard mention that mounts are cheaper and that the mount lvl requirement is now 20. but I haven't actually seen anything to confirm that.

I finally got my first lvl 80 today. :D:D:D I am so happy.

If anyone is having problems leveling up just go to alterac valley over and over and over. The new battleground exp is way too good. At lvl 79 I was getting two bars every 10-20 minutes. Its amazing. :]

Battle ground xp? ...Interesting.

I left WoW. Won't be back until I get a job or something.

Hmm... I'm considering getting wow but I know that it's crack-grade addictive (http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1915521). Do you reckon that one could get wow, and still keep up with the tf2/l4d community, and custom mapping? And maybe school?

It depends on how resistant you are to the addiction. It takes a lot of will power to balance it all.

I completely forgot to post about Cataclysm. Its going to be so sweet. Two more playable races and quite a bit more combinations of classes and races like, gnome and tauren priest and human and undead hunters. Im gonna make a Worgen and a Goblin. :D

Ill post some links later.

Also, I think if you have control you can play this game while going to school and not destroy your life. But, some people cant handle it and feel like they need to accomplish everything. If you are like that DO NOT start this game.
