Unfortunately, the only results I've received thus far are from you, toasters and KinGAleX. The others have yet to post their results, including myself.

Edit: I just had my battle with -LordofPeanuts-. I won 5-0 and 1-0. I did get a couple of lucky critical hits, however.

Edit MkII: My bad. I forgot to include you, toasters. We're currently waiting on the GTM/Pheidi and spoon/aapse matchups.

Would it be possible for me to slip in since the first round isn't over yet? I heard there was a vacancy.

If you're willing to commit yourself to a two month long competition, then yes. All you have to do is contact MyCheezKilledYours and see if you can organize a match within the next day or two. If things go well, I can adjust the matchup schedule accordingly. The format would stay the same, only the number of rounds will be altered.

Aha, finally played pheidi. I won the first two rounds, and lost the last. Good games.

spoon and i have hardly ever been online at the same time due to different time zones, so it's been hard to get a match in so far.
we're trying though.

unfortunately, due to unforseen circumstances (my grandfather dying), i'm going to be away for a couple of weeks.
i'll have to forfeit for this round, and from the competition.
sorry for the inconvenience, i know i've gone and screwed up the even matchings :\

spoon Might, i guess you win 3 - 0

Thanks for letting me now, aapse.

Luckily, Zivilyn decided to join the competition, and he did happen to play against Cheez, resulting in a 2-0 win to Zivilyn. As we had one person join, and one leave, the format will not change.

Here's a summary of results for Round One:
toasters def PALEMOON (2 - 1)
Chase def Drathmoore (2 - 0)
natures_peril def KinGAleX (2 - 0)
George def -LordofPeanuts- (2 - 0)
GTM def Pheidippides (2 - 0)
Zivilyn def Cheez (2 - 0)

Bye: spoon (as aapse forfeited)

Round Two matchups will be posted tomorrow.

The first post said we are allowed to change teams between rounds.

That means we don't have to use the same team for everyone we face, right?

Also, funny how nearly all the matches ended up as a 2-0. :P

Cheez that's right, you can change your team at any stage between rounds, but cannot change your team between game one and game two with the same person.

Can't wait :)

Sorry. nut... I've got loads of shit going on in my life right now, including, but not limited to, the most gorgeous girl I've ever seen in my life admitting she likes me (And, by the by, I've been love struck by this girl for about 2 years. Talk about beauty and the beast.), I've got a big project, I'm being a counselor at this camp, etc. So... Yeah.

I'm really sorry guys, but... I just can't deal with this on top of everything else at the moment. I'll prolly be taking a hiatus of indefinite time from the forums, and the internet altogether, barring Facebook, which is, sadly, my only means of communicating with her.

:/.

EDIT: Well, it wasn't really admitting. It was more like flat out telling.

Good to hear there's great things going on in your life though. Still if this means you're pulling out surely KA can play natures peril? Or did they play in Round 1?

EDIT: I was right. Rematch ahoy?
