Basicly what the title says. Just throw your song up here in the mp3 format, and share with others.

(Getting mine up here shortly)

Remember to keep in mind the legality of whatever you're sharing.

Not strictly my favourite song, but I quite like Her Lazer Light Eyes by Nullsleep:

Yasmin the Light - Explosions in the Sky

Probably not my favorite song of all time, I don't really have one, but this is easily *one* of my favorites.

Maybe this isn't my most favorite song.. but so far it's awesome.

Amazingly, it's a remix from Donkey Kong Country.

Another good song, Death Rides A Horse by Russian Circles. Some people call it post-metal, I call it rocking instrumental rock.

It looks like that song can be found on that band's MySpace page, although it's not so simple to get a direct link to the MP3 to put in tags for this forum. This might be it:

Never a good question to ask.

Other than, of course, my music, I listen to a ton of other great songs.

Some of the songs in my "awesome music" playlist are...
  • AniMusic
  • Passicaglia and Fugue, and Toccata and Fugue by Bach
  • Michelle and Yesterday, by the Beatles
  • Fur Elise, Moonlight Sonata, and some other things by Beethoven
  • Where Is The Love - the Black Eyes Peas
  • A whole ton of stuff by Danny Elfman
  • A few songs (Vive Cathodique! Yay!) by maestro
  • Some songs from Disney movies; Under The Sea, and Prince Ali
  • Songs from the Blue Mood album, by Elton John
  • Some of The Planets, by Gustav Holst
  • Some of Handel's Messiah
  • Some things by John Williams
  • Songs by Mike Oldfield; mostly songs from his Tubular Bells album
  • Some music from Smash Bros Brawl
  • Few songs - most of them long - by Tchaikovsky
  • Many songs from Vangelis' Odyssey
  • Vivaldi's Seasons
  • Pieces by Weird Al
  • And a few recordings of pieces that I've played
I particularly enjoyed music from movies such as: Horton Hears A Who, Wall-E, Pirates Of The Caribbean, some of the older Disney movies, and many more.

My favorite would probably be Electrical Storm by U2. Or maybe Through the Fire and Flames by Dragonforce. Possibly Pork and Beans by Wheezer as well.

I've gone back to listening to "Sleep" by Godspeed You! Black Emperor over and over again. What a classic.

"Alphabet Town" by Elliot Smith has been a consistent fave over the past few months as well.

Edit: and sorry, but I'm not going to post a 37 MB mp3. Hehe.

I've got more MP3s, even if no-one else does:

Deli by Mor ve Ötesi. It was the best thing at this year's Eurovision Song Contest (they're from Turkey).

And this one's Arcadia by Apparat.

Yes sir, you have got to check out Animusic. Stuff is incredible. Now, as far as that goes...the only non-copyrighted music I could probably give you would be something I wrote, but I'll release all that to you guys when the album is done. My favorite song of all time, without doubt, is "Supper's Ready," by Genesis. But, of course, this is copyrighted. It's nice to listen to all these mp3s though. I didn't think I'd like this thread, but it was really neat to listen to the Donkey Kong thing that Pops posted, and a few others.

Since its copyrighted, I'll just post a link. Echoes - Pink Floyd. Click on the first song on the page. As a warning, it lasts over 20 minutes long.

Pschhh. Supper's Ready! Beaten hands down by The Gates of Delirium, Close to the Edge, Awaken, Revealing Science of God, Remembering, Ancients, and Ritual! Those would be my favourite seven Yes epics.

Transatlantic's All of the Above would be up there if we're going for favourite single piece, as well as The Flower Kings's Garden of Dreams.

Still, I think my top would have to be Yes's Siberian Khatru, from Close to the Edge.
