Does anyone know if there's a Netbattle/Shoddy-esque program for the card game? I haven't Google'd it yet, but maybe someone already knows a good program. If no one knows, I'll get back to you if I find something.

Edit: After much searching, it appears that no such program exists. What a shame.

If we can get eight or more people, I'd be happy to organise some sort of competition. Any people interested can post it this thread or give me a yell.

Wait, I'm confused.
Is this the same as shoddybattle?
I used to play that, and had an impressive record too.
I might be up for the challenge...

If you remind me on IRC, I'd totally be up for this thing. A tourney would be cool.

As another note, I've registered the channel #pokemon for our IRC server. Feel free to join it, and talk about pokemon. And my six (almost seven) dragonites.

I use Shoddy, but I'm guessing this is about the same thing. I'll try it out.

Also, nice nicknames PALEMOON. :D
Especially your Breloom.

For some reason, I cannot connect to Shoddy or Netbattle today. :/

I'm getting ticked off.

LackeyCCG has a Pokemon plugin, and it works fine. I've played a few games with Palemoon, and the occasional stranger. It's not exactly mainstream though so good luck finding another Pokemon user in the lobby.

I will look for you guys on NetBattle though for sure. I am usually just using UU - BL teams because not very many of my favorites are exactly tier quality. :\
Shame not many people are into doubles.

The registry's currently down, so for those who can't connect, try this:

Advanced Connect --> nb.pmnb.net

There are some other servers listed in one of my earlier posts.

Yush, because ubers are cheap.
Also note that Garchomp is considered an uber.

My team is secret until it starts. :P
I also have a server that we could use for the tourny...

The uber list is here: [link]

I won't be able to do this tourney until my new HDD is purchased which could take a while to save up for at this rate...

Seeing as there has been enough interest expressed, I'll put up a tourney thread sometime next week (I'm camping this weekend). We'll discuss rules, formats and such then.

Ah, cool. I used to be really in to Pokemon, but never the competitive side. I think I'll give this a try.
I probably won't play much of D/P, though. I kind of get lost in there. R/S/E/LG/FR is my favorite gen, so I'll mostly be playing there.
And I think that I'll try UU. Seems more fun to me, not being able to use the most commons. If I ever go OU, it won't be with much or any common sets or Pokemon.
EDIT: Actually, after some research, I think that it'd be more fun to try and run an UU/BL team in a OU environment. More unusual.
Y'know, I'm just going to use Poke's that I like. I don't care about tiers. :D

We should totally do UU if this is the case, considering there's so much more choice and it'd be much more fun.

I can't seem to get my IRC working right.

But I DO have a Netbattle server, and we could host the tourny there, if you want.

Server's name is Blazing Ocean. I'm going to get it up now.

MyCheez that's great having our own dedicated server. This should be great for some friendlies and proper competitive matches.

We'll need to get George to set this up before I do it myself :P We need to decide on the tier as well as any clauses.
