i got a windows vista, HP PAVILLION computer with the best graphic and video cards
but wen i first installed gears of war for it, it installed properly, but wen i tried to play it, it exited out and said i needed to reinstall it
so i uninstalled it and tried to install it again but now wenever i try to install it, it shows an error and says...

So... did you actually buy the game? or did you download it illegally? Because if you downloaded it illegally, we can't help you. Also, and not to sound like a douche, could you maybe strengthen up your grammar a bit?

i actually bought the game, i used a cd and everything

Wait... If you had a CD, why would you need to download the game. Surely you could just install it from the disk, couldn't you?

A quick check of the system requirements on Wikipedia shows that this is incorrect. The game does work with Vista. Secondly, the Wikipedia article also states an issue that could be causing your problem.
Perhaps you could look into that patch and see if it fixes your problem.Expired Digital Certificates
In early 2009, an issue with a digital certificate, used to sign certain game-critical files as part of the Anti-Cheat mechanism, which expired on January 28, 2009, rendered the game unplayable without a temporary workaround of resetting the system clock to before the certificate expired.
Initial information from sources lead people to believe the issue was related to DRM within the game[34]. EPIC later acknowledged the problem, clarifying it as being not in relation to a form of DRM but instead to a form of Anti-Cheat, and notified end users that they "[were] working with Microsoft to get it resolved." This issue was corrected as of February 6, 2009 with a downloadable patch.[37]
Also, if you do manage to install it after this, right-click on the icon on your desktop and go to Properties. Make sure that you check the box that says "Run this program as an Administrator" or something of the like. Soldat had that compatibility problem for some of our Vista users as well.
