Post pictures of your city/village/town, whether their yours or somewhere from the Internet. Here are some pictures of Zenica that I found. It may be too much for you (12), but I hope you won't bother to look at them because some of them are really good. Also, when posting avoid using img tags, just to keep more posts per page.

If you wanna see my hometown, download Google Earth and just move around Torrance, California; specifically, the west side.

I like that first Zenica photo, with the city nestled amongst hills.

One part of Adelaide is like this or this. I don't live in the CBD, mind you; here in the suburbs it's more like this or this.

What city is that? I don't know what to write in the first post.

Oh, it's Auckland, I saw it in the URL.

Ours is a quintessential English town. Not much to see, less to do, but lots of open space and greenery. Ugh. Good thing London is only a 40 minute escape away!

Epsom, Surrey. England.

I live in a small, environment-conscious town in California filled to the brim with hippies.
As such, we've got an entire coastline of beaches, parks by the ocean, and a Fisherman's Wharf.
(The following use Google Maps' street view feature.)
Along the coastline stretching through a few cities is the bike path, and we even have huge fuck-off lakes.
But if you're not a fan of nature, you're kind of shit out of luck. You have to dig deep to find the quiet night life, and the entire town pretty much shuts down around midnight. There's an ungodly amount of fancy restaurants, so the town is really more like a quiet, romantic town than anything else (there is disproportionately more to do for a couple than for a group of friends). Most of the late-night activity happens on Alvarado Street (and if you pan around a bit in this shot, there are at least 6 people doing something completely illegal).
...and I'm not even getting into Carmel-by-the-Sea, which is an even greener town full of retired doctors and lawyers, as well as actors like Brad Pitt and Clint Eastwood. But I only go down there (10 minute drive south) once in a blue moon and I don't hang around there much, so I didn't bother putting much up about it.
[spoiler="you know i always joked that it would be scary as hell to run into DMX in a dark ally, but secretly when i say 'DMX' i really mean 'Tsukatu'." -kai]"... and when i say 'scary as hell' i really mean 'tight pink shirt'." -kai[/spoiler][/i]

Updated, note me if I've done something wrong. Are the first and the third picture of Zenica broken, I can't open them at the moment...

EDIT: Tell me, was it maybe this one?
