I'm wondering if anyone's been working with or otherwise using them.
I make simple stuff for my sigs, but I would be interested in knowing if they've been used for something a bit less trivial.

I make the frames with Fireworks, and assemble them with:

So anything you guys make, or am I the only one who finds an animated PNG fascinating?
(The APNG assembly part of the article was the most fun for me)

Oh. my. god. This is like a dream. The amazing picture quality of a PNG...animated! I'll have to try some stuff with this. GIFs will be obsolete, hopefully, with their horrid quality.

So do you just save a file as .apng, or do you need to download plugins for it to work?

That's incredibly awesome, actually. Now we can have some really amazing looking anime avatars and whatnot. Also.. I take it your Signature is using that format? because that looks awesome.
