[zissou]There[/zissou] ended up being a 1v1 match at the end of Arena yesterday. Both were spies too, and the map was Badlands. They would both encounter each other once at the control point, shoot a two or three bullets, then retreat. The cycle would continue. -BORING-

The updates are going to get really messy.

Demo, Spy, and Engi are going to be a nightmare. Servers full of SG nests? Servers full of cloaks and disguises? Servers full of Sticky traps and nade spam?

Soldier and Sniper I'm really not worried about, they're easy classes to counter (soldier being one of the most - if not the most - balanced in game), and sniper being almost useless at close range.

They'll need a simultaneous update: either engi + spy, or engi and demo. Probably the most helpful would be demo + engi.

Anyway, does anyone have access to server rcon? We should set up some in-house metagames if possible.

So true. The SMG is completely useless, while the engi's shotgun is deadly. ;-;


My friend and I were thinking of setting up are own server. I'm not sure if he's interested, but I'll probably end up setting up a Metanet server...unless we have one already.

Fixed? ;)

Wrench with +xx sentry kills = almost crit per hit. Missing a spy stab on a wandering Engi = turn and run most of the time ;_;
