Netbattle Supremacy

For those who still love Pokemon, a Diamond/Pearl upgrade has been released on one of the most popular online battle simulators, Netbattle Supremacy. Netbattle simulates the core gameplay of the Nintendo handheld games - the battles. Players have complete control over which Pokemon to select, their moves, natures, EVs and so on. Create a six man team, and get battling!

I'm online most days, so feel free to give me a match or something.

Yeah, I share similar sentiments. While there are many welcome changes, I think they've completely screwed the metagame over.

I disagree with you.

I have over 200 hours o diamond and almost finished national pokedex.

I think that Diamond is the best one so far and I will probably try out Platinum.

If you battle competitively, you'll realize that the metagame is too offensively based. And the movepools in general are too diverse in some respects. I like what they've done with some of the new attacks and splitting the physical and special attacks, but some of the other changes don't really suit.

Perhaps I'm still in transition from Advance to 4th Gen. My opinion might change as I get used to it more though.

The registry's been quite temperamental as of late, so you may not be able to access it at times. In that case, just enter one of these addresses in the Advanced Connect menu:

nb.pmnb.net - Mafia Server
mewshrine.zapto.org - Mew's Shrine
Colosseum.Zapto.org - The Colosseum
stadiumbrasil.zapto.org - Stadium Brasil (BR)
Pokemon-stats.zapto.org - Pokemon Stats (BR)
nb.uustadium.com - UU Stadium
fullmetalsanctity.no-ip.info - Full Metal Sanctity

Issac, you'll need to right-click someone's name and then go 'Watch Battle'. Some players prefer to disable spectators though.

Also, have you applied EVs to your team?

IsaacX, just go to Smogon, it has all the info you need.

Also I will battle people if they're up for it, mention it on IRC though.

Serebii is also pretty good too.

By the way, that link you posted is wrong. Here's the link: http://www.smogon.com/

This needs a bump.

Why don't we start some sort of Metanet Gym Challenge. Depending on popularity have an E4 at the end too. We can choose any type, as long as you don't wander off like some In-game gyms do. Have Max 4 with Gyms, Max 5 with E4 and 6 for the Champ.

If you're up for doing this, post it.

Or maybe a tourney of sorts

This looks amazing; I myself love Diamond, but I'm having the same problem as Daikenkai. It says there is a missing or invalid file.

EDIT: I re-installed it, it's working great. ;)

I wanted to run a league or something, but there wasn't really enough interest to make it worth the time. This thread was partially created to gauge how many members actually wanted to play the game.

But yeah, the offer still stands. I'm all for running some sort of a competition.
