I have just been kicked out of school, so i have all the time in the world and will be home most of the day almost every day (weekends i'm often out doing something though, but usually only around mid day)

I live in Utah, so thats Mountain Time -7, i believe

I was thinking that we should just make a IRC room for this. Its annoying trying to PM people or post here looking for a match and getting a responses way too late or not at all. If we have a chatroom for it its easy to see who is on and who is not, and who wants to play and such. Just a thought from me.

(p.s. I raped skyray in some matches but he didnt want me to post anything. You didnt here it from me.)

I agree with spudz, "/join #brawl" would be a nice place to set up matches
and Spudz you only raped me because i was experimenting and learning with Toon Link.
Next time i'm over we should count 3 or 5 matches for the forum so we don't have to deal with the terrible lag D;

Also slayr I didnt notice that you challenged me until now. So I guess next time you want to Brawl just tell me. Also if you go on IRC that would be great. Me and Condog are going to try to do some matches sometime today. :)

Dude, I hate it when people are like that. You both accept to play the match, and if you choose a character you're not as good with that's your own fault. All excuses do is ruin the glory of the real winner. The correct response is, "I'm disappointed, but my opponent won fairly. Maybe next time!"

Spudz sounds awesome though.. Any videos yet?

It was mainly intended as a joke, he raped me fair and square, but half of the time i was just messing around, so i deserved it.
We play semi-regularly and i accept the fact that he is better ;D

I main Pit and i'm starting to learn TL and ZSS, with about only a few days of full play with them so until i get better, i'll probably be getting raped ;D

Nah, i don't complain about losing.. I was just joking around ;D

Maybe for people that don't have IRC we should create a chatroom and just use that instead, which may be helpful because some chatrooms allow you to view old messages, while IRC won't.

have you guys tried brawl+? I've known about it for a while but never got into it. Totally check it out -- it balances characters, makes the game faster and less luck-based, and generally more enjoyable -- and it can be played online.

Try it out, all you need is brawl, twilight princess and an SD card (for the hack). I'd be happy to go into more detail if anyone needs it, but you can get detailed step-by-steps all over the internet.

Brawl is Brawl, not Melee. People need to stop trying to make it that. Though I do like the idea of no tripping.

the great thing about b+ is that you can tweak it yourself, so you can have just no tripping if you want, and there's some changes that are generally 100% positive -- freezing banned stages so you have larger stage diversity, fixing weird bugs, saving infinitely long replays, fixing character balance etc.

I won't get into a debate about whether brawl is better than melee, but the only things that make me want to play brawl are the larger character and stage selection, smoother animations, better music and saving replays. Now I can have the best of both worlds. At least, give it a try.
