I think GTM's version is best, so I edited from there. I took out the launchpad because I thought it detracted from the flow. (Demo below) Anyway, here are my tweaks. I think it's pretty much done. If you guys agree, I'll post the map and someone can start a new one.

Here's my ideal flow demo:

The trap door is unnecessary, and I hate how the flow is broken when you reach the drone section. There should be some intermediary part that leads to the drone, because as of now that break is really jarring. Also the lack of tiles in the top and left parts of the map make it seem unfinished. Some decorative tiles around there would be nice.

If it's still up for editing, dibs.

The trap door is so you don't get sniped after you win. Silly, I know. It certainly is still up for editing.

Edited a bit, I tried to make it play smoother overall. I took out one of the thwumps, because I found getting trapped behind them annoying. Also I changed the transition between the two areas with the gauss tunnel, now the player can make a big running jump into another big walljump, which should help the transition feel more natural. The top area is there because I thought it was fun, but you could take out the locked doors and make it optional.

only if you think it's ready, then edit it yourself, and post it straight to numa...?

Hmm... Interesting indeed.

Dibs.

Drone pathing!

The door switch will probably need a change of place later, but I can't tell where right now, of course...

I like it already :)

Dibs again!

I removed one mine, because it made it quite hard for me.

The trapdoors I added can mess up the order of the drones :/

i like where this is going. i wish i could've gotten the drones back in order though.

if the first one was called The Melting Pot, shouldnt you change the title of the thread?

EDIT: changed a couple things for smoothnes.

I'll take it after eganic edits. Scratch that, I'm no good with drone pathing. I would suggest not having the enemies half into the tiles, but I won't butt in and change it, I'll leave it to the next editor.

I think the name "The Melting Pot" is more for the concept of a group collab than the name of the map.

I like where it's going a lot. The drone paths are great. I love how OneSevenNine changed my second contribution so it's way more like I envisioned it.

EDIT: Dibs.

EDIT 2:

I'm not sure what to do with the rocket.

I messed up the drone path again >_<

The Melting Pot is what the first map was called on NUMA. we cant very well call this next one The Melting Pot.

Map:

you-get-the-idea Demo:

i made a crap-load of adjustments for the sake of smoothness. i kindof turned it into a race-against-the-drones map :3

i dont know how we can make the gameplay any sharper.

The doors and traps at present look cheatable (I've tricked some drones out from some doors) and ugly imo, maybe you guys would like to revise this idea.

Is this supposed to happen?

Correct. I named the first map "The Melting Pot" mostly to raise more awareness of this group collab on NUMA. The title of this topic stays the same, the map names of future maps will differ.
