* Round the corners of the forum boxes. Imo, it would look much smoother.
* Move the 'new post' icon to the top left of each box, next to the forum name. It's easier if the icon is right nect to the name of the forum in question, you don't have to move your eyes as far (this my sound really lazy, but it's not just me who thinks like this)
* Make the forum title bolder. Increase the size, change the font, put the title in it's own little box, whatever, just make it the first thing you see when you look at the forum box.
* Change it to blue. I like blue.
Top stuff man, one of the best i've seen so far. Keep on it.

Ice Climbers are awesome. Deal with it.

There is way to much blue in our skins. I like to have something different.

And Yanni, I love it - my favorite skin made! And I'm on the online members list, surely a world first?

I don't see the point but I am going to say that again. Awesome and original. Looks a bit messed up. Maybe a bit too flashy. Bit warmer on the colours would be good. Or even slightly darker.Techno wrote:Slightly agree with incluye. The concept is magnificent. But I do like the execution. It works very well. The only complaint I have is that it feels a little crowded.

And incluye, why do we seem to be interested in these thins so much. Whoer has to insert the skins into the forums is not going to be happy wether it's B_T or LV. There's so many to choose from. I can't make up my mind on which one is the best...really!
If only I could make a skin. Oh the irony =(

We are interested in these because whichever one we decide to use is going to be the default skin for a long time. We want the forums to look as nice as possible, and that is only going to happen if we continue to refine the stuff we have until the majority of members are as happy as possible with the chosen skin. I don't know about you, but I would rather put the time in to make the skin look better than accept the first one submitted.Rikaninja wrote:And incluye, why do we seem to be interested in these thins so much. And just because you can't decide what skin you want doesn't mean that everyone else feels the same way.
That's not irony. That's not irony at all.Rikaninja wrote:If only I could make a skin. Oh the irony =(

Stop making me feel insignificant even though I am =(. I'm enjoying this too. And I'm learning about this skin thing. And by defualt do you mean it's just the usual skin or that we can't changeour skins at all. So far I like Pembies to be honest. I've alreay registered :) It has a nice feeling and I like the freedom of real smilies =]

If any skin that a user here has made becomes available for these forums, non-text smilies will still not show up.Rikaninja wrote:*SOB SOB*

Actually, I agree with EdoI. It does look a bit messy. This isn't the mock-up, this is a rough draft, IMO.Condog wrote:Mock up.EdoI wrote:This skin looks a bit messy...

That is sarcasm right? You could change the background image to something more easy on the eyes and those random coloured squares seem slightly unnesesary. Maybe use warmer colours. And the red/pink at the top is revolting (in my opinion).Pheidippides wrote:I don't think it looks messy.
