I'll try to do some more. I'm attempting to make them easy on the eyes, because I feel a forum is best in those.

Yet another skin that could challenge maestro's.
I'm liking this one. A lot. The only thing I'm not too sure about is the size of the numbers for Topics and Posts. It doesn't seem to fit too well.

Fantastic skin, T3chno! I would be hard pressed to choose between this and maestros. As always though, here are some things i think you should consider changing:
* Put borders around the individual topics and forums. It will make them easier to distinguish, and look better in general. Actually, dividers in gerenal would look good, imo. I like it better when I can easily differentiate the seperate areas of the layout.
* Shrink the size of the text in general, and specifically the forum/topic area. Right now it overwhelms me with the size. Users on now, birthdays and statistics could also be shrunk.
* Change it to blue. This is just because I think things look better in blue. Not a light blue, mind, just change it from greeny/yellow to blue. That would look far better. But thats just me.
* A more detailed header would be nice. At the moment it looks rather plain, and i feel a detailed header/banner would look great.
Thats pretty much it. However, i would like to see some other shots of this skin, such as a thread with info and sigs/avys, and thread listing.
All in all, this is awesome, and has a tonne of potential. Superb work.

Nice, maybe the chainging og the font colours. So you can distinguish members and mods etc.

It's like reading the forums on your Gameboy! Not one of those new-fangled ones with more than four colours, either.

Hehe. Nothing wrong with the classics, right?Atilla wrote:It's like reading the forums on your Gameboy! Not one of those new-fangled ones with more than four colours, either.
There's already a blue skin in the making. Why another one? As for the bottom, I know. I rushed it; I only gave myself an hour and 15 minutes for it.Izzy wrote:BlueBlueBlue.
The bottom seems quite messy at the moment, but I'm sure you'll fix that. This one is eh, unique. I wouldn't mind it.

I think the correct question is, why would you not want another blue one?Techno wrote:There's already a blue skin in the making. Why another one?Izzy wrote:BlueBlueBlue.

I'm currently working on one that's a variation of this with blue and pink. Yes, pink. Honestly, I'm double-minded on it. Lemme finish it up a bit and I'll put it up. I won't completely finish it until I get you guys' opinion on whether it's a thumbs up or down.

I'm no expert judge of forum skins, but if that exact one were usable today, I would use it today.
EDIT: Erm... the first one. The second one was a bold step, but I'm not digging it yet.

Soon as in later. Probably post-December. However, aperture and I are in contact, so rest assured we are at least thinking about it.

Oh hell yeah! The two bright colours on the dark background looks spectacular. It might be good to experiment with other colour combinations though, i'm not quite sure about the pink.

I have no clue why, but I love the pink/blue combination so much. I think that's my favourite funky color style so far.
All I'd suggest for that at this point is a different background and possibly removing the thick white border around the N+ mines, as well as cutting a bit more off the bottom of the text image so that when it is mocked up in CSS and HTML it will look like it is blending in with the header just below it a little more than it already is.

Hope you guys like grunge. This is still /very/ rough, but I thought that a grungey skin was needed and the Web 2.0 doesn't exactly please everyone.

I'm not liking that colour combo at all. But if you change the colours a bit, it could work. Maybe make it more 'industrial', if you get what i mean.
