I've realized I'm not half-bad at making sigtags:

[various other Neditor Nation tags, all pretty much the same as those two]

Any comments/critiques/requests? I'm using Adobe Photoshop Elements 2 on a machine with Windows XP. All tags are 19px high, but widths vary depending on what they're for.

I've done other tags in a similar style, and may start making more. Any comments/critiques/requests? All tags are 19px high, but widths vary depending on what they're for. To clarify, this isn't specifically for Neditor Nation.
If you would like some help or some suggestions about sigtags and such I'd be happy to lend a helping hand and some useful tips to image creation.

What image program do you use? And are you on Windows or Macintosh?

Hey, thanks pawz. I use Photoshop Elements 2, on a laptop with Windows XP.

Edit: A little RSS tag for the bottom of the Transcend. Blog's About Page...

Those tags look realllly great, but the orange text is a bit hard to read against the yellow background.

Thanks, SkyPanda.

Yeah, that's Photoshop's Wow Neon Layer Style on the text. As you can see in the RSS tag, I tried to do something to make the text stand out more, namely by making another layer of the text and applying different styles to the new layer. It worked a little bit, but it's still not great. Any Photoshoppers with suggestions?

Edit: Here's one where the text shouldn't be hard to read. This came out really well, I think.
EditEdit: Tried it with more opacity on the gloss. Better?
EditEditEdit: Eh, I think it's too much gloss. I like the first one better, but I'll leave 'em both up here for critique.
Edit^4: New self-advertising sigtag, for kicks. With and without extra border. Again, which is better?
Edit-to-the-fifth: And another sigtag...

these are great.
why dont you make one along these lines for the badges? the one now is so awkward and large, one of these would fit perfectly in my sig.

Thanks, notsteve. Maybe I will do some Neditor Nation tags. We'll see.

Also, new one:

Now that I've ditched the avy/sig combo, I wanted to put my silhouette to good use. Also, Izzy, I'm glad people besides me still watch that run from time to time. :)
