How about we map because we all fucking want to. Fuck your ratings. It's a game. If you enjoy what you make, it's good. Anyone else can go to hell.

nexx, you write way too much. please be more concise as to not bore your audience. i read the whole first page and it took a long time, but i saw all your (and other's) long-ass posts on the second page and i said hell no
If you're going to revive a two-year-old thread, at least have the common courtesy to read what's already been said. I'd rather have posts by fellows like Nexx with all their boring, well-thought-out details than the kind of embarassing drivel that you just posted.

I totally just read that as, "I'd hate to be the only black guy stuck using v1.4."

Actually, there's a little gold key there. Besides, he's right.

I dunno. My writing is unfathomably prolix and captivating like an aflame sack of donkey testicles.

My post was more a criticism of your attitude than your writing. What really rubbed me the wrong way was that you admitted to not reading the second page of the topic--how can you expect anyone to read your post and give a fuck about what you're saying when you proudly flaunt the fact that you didn't do this for the earlier posters? There's no need to bring your "right to express your opinion" into this--I'm merely expressing my opinion that you sound like a bit of a dick.

If it is important to have a true rating that reflects the average map, I say we drop the 0 rating. It no longer has a valid purpose and anyone rating a map a 0 is being mean. Either rate it a 1 or don't rate at all IMO.

The accuracy of the voting system is perfect in that no matter how many decimal places you add the system will never accurately reflect the true value of the map.

Yeah, but I will feel much more satisfied rating x.xx/5 than x/5.
