I know that feeling. I like La Loba by Shakira. :(OneSevenNine wrote:It's like I feel like I should hate it.

I suppose in some contexts I would be ashamed to like Lady Gaga, the Jonas Brothers, Varsity Fanclub, and Miley Cyrus.

I have to admit I was a little embarrassed when my roommates first heard me playing Sigur Ros. They're a great band, but listening to an Icelandic guy sing falsetto is kind of an acquired taste.

Hm, I wouldn't really say I'm embarassed to like anything. I mean, people raise eyebrows when they scroll through my iPod, but I'm not really embarrassed at all. Like what Fraxtil said, speedcore can be a little ridiculous at times, but I dunno.

Oh, and Macarron Chacarron. I like that song. And everyone merely laughs when I tell them that.

I am not embarrassed to sometimes like Nickelback. Or limp Bizkit. Or Metallica's St Anger. (I used to be though, kinda) But all of those have gotten me weird looks. I also have Avril Lavinge in my library, but I have not listened to her music for more than ten minutes total.

None, and no one should be embarrassed about personal opinion. But, since I'm not allowed to make entirely bipartisan posts (boring), fuck Nickelback.

Single Ladies is bomb.
Lady GaGa's first album was great, especially the non-singles, but her second is trash.
Party in the USA was suprisingly not awful, possibly because its just so funny. (Take it to the club in a taxi cab?)

I found both of Lady GaGa's efforts to be strong showings, although the second is reasonably less innovative.

I did not know Limp Bizkit was a band that one should be ashamed of hearing.RandomDigits wrote:Or limp Bizkit.

James Blunt.
http://greenbrown.bandcamp.comPeople write to me and say, "I’m giving up, you’re not talking to me." I just write them a simple message like, "Never give up," you know? And it changes their life

Raditude is a catchy album, imo. And hearing Lil Wayne-autotune is a treat in itself. Plus, awesome, awesome cover.

Yeah, my brother went through changing all the music genres and labelled Sigur Ros as 'dud'. So I just played it a little moreepigone wrote:I know the feeling.
