i looked at "getting your map noticed" and just a question,

are my maps realy that boring to look at? because like i got like 5 rated maps out of 80+-7 and am i a bad map maker or does the community just hate me?

but my latest maps( 4-6 latest atleast) the few people that rated and played it thought they were good!

please leave feedback. thx in advance/Oakstream

I am Frekish on NUMA!

I'm sure your maps aren't boring. They look pretty good anyway. Also you should use the map-rating and map-commenting thread to get them noticed, instead of being greedy and making your own threads. In fact, I'll play a few (that means undusting my N program)

Did you really have to make a new topic to respond to a different thread?

Actually, I will be honest here, I don't really like your maps, and they aren't well made most of the time. Did you use a bias when you read the map noticing thread? I think thats very possible.

Even my maps don't get noticed on NUMA anymore, and a lot of us old-timers don't actively go there unless we're directly linked to a map. Combine that with the idea that new mappers tend to be selfish and only want their own maps to get noticed. Just browsing through your maps, they do look a bit generic. Map with aesthetics in mind for your next map - Make it look absolutely gorgeous. If you need any mapmaking tips, I'm always up to give ideas on anything that's needed. Just let me know.
