I was browsing through the Metanet Forums, bored, sad with my life, as usual. Hardly did I know today was the day that was going to change my life.

But then something caught my eye, and I felt a little tiny bite of that animal that is curiosity.


The post that changed my life.

To the untrained eye, this might seem like a pretty innocuous post, but after careful inspection, you might notice something different about it.


Notice anything now? ;)

I had to find out. My heart was jumping around all of my body, my veins red hot, my eyes wide open.
But I had to plan this out very carefully, using all the tools at my disposal, if I ever wanted to make through it.


First step, add a task to wunderlist, so that at the end, I can feel the satisfaction of ticking the box.

Next part of the plan: explore all the possibilities.


Using workflowy, I could quickly list all the possibilities. This is not an ad.

Now that I had all the things checked, I decided it was time to solve the mystery. I would go from top to bottom, no skipping, forcing myself to focus on one at a time.
First, the wizard option. At first, I was excited that I was gonna finish the mystery at first try, but then, after careful research, I found this:


What!? You're wizard! You can do better than this!

Obvious, isn't it? I mean, if he was a wizard, all of his maps would be fived! A little wave of shame ran over me. "You are too nervous man, too eager to find the Truth. You're never gonna make it if you continue like this."
I shrugged off the monster of doubt, and unleashed the gyarados of perseverance.
And crossed the first option off the list.


Even if I had failed, striking through this option still felt hella great.

Next, from the future runningninja. This was a rather obvious "no way" choice. I mean, do you really think in the future anyone's ever going to think of going back to the metanet forums to check how n's going?*


Two down, four to go.

Again, this was another obvious no go. From the past? Apart from metanet forums not even existing, not even internet existed. Let's cross this out.


IT'S SO FUN TO CROSS OUT THINGS, but it's so sad I still haven't found the secret!

This wasn't so obvious, but the subpoint made it all clear. However you look at it, there's no way runningninja's an alien. For two reasons:
- unfortunately, I don't have pic-proof of this, but I'm sure everyone remembers runningninja's pic in the Post a Picture thread. If anything else, his deletion of the pictures only proves his non-alien-ess more, since if I was an alien, I'd want to have all proof of his human-being everywhere, and never delete it, just in case.
- if he's an alien, how in the world does he know how to type in english? *pause for you to straighten out your surprise-face* Yeah, mindblowing I know.


So easy, yet so hard.

To be honest, when I was planning this out, I put this option in just for kicks. I trust Steve Jobs, but there's a limit to trust.
Still, I gave it a try.
