Update 1 - August 30, 2016 (Click to open/close)

- Disable StickyKeys while the game is running, to prevent a popup when the default LSHIFT/RSHIFT Colour/Social menu buttons are used.
- Fix for occasional crashes when browsing/playing user levels.
- Eating unwanted key repeats from SDL, so holding the jump key doesn't send you through all the post-game screens.
- Updated the game controller database, adding support for several third party controllers.
- Fix to allow beta users to get all the 'killed' trophies instead of just the highest.
- Require pressing START to join the game instead of A when using an XBox controller (this is a preliminary fix for the double-player XBox One controller bug, that should make solo play work as intended).

Update 2 - September 2, 2016 (Click to open/close)

- Use the Local App Data folder as a backup if My Documents isn't available (should fix some crashes on startup)
- ignore in-game key bindings if they conflict with the menu binding defaults (Up arrow can safely be bound to jump now)
- removed the vars system which some people were using to cheat levels
- searching for User Levels should be working again (pending a server update)

Minor security update - September 4, 2016 (Click to open/close)

- Addressed DLL exploits which players were using to access cheats.
- Fixed multiplayer login prompt text (should be F2, F3 and F4 again).

Update 4 - September 17, 2016 (Click to open/close)

- Some improvements to error logging for better debugging of some sneaky errors
- Keep the Side Menus open when using up/down keys on them if opened by a mouseover
- Fixed a missing button in the Editor
- Fixed issues and crashes caused by the Timerbar funlocks not saving/loading correctly or displaying in-menu correctly
- Backup the last good savegame as 'nprofile-old' and load it if the main save get corrupted somehow
- Reset Defaults in the Controls Menu works with Keyboard/Controller and not just mouse
- Ignore in-game key bindings if they conflict with the menu controls (for real this time!) and don't clear Editor controls when rebinding in-game keys.
- Able to search again in the Episode Grid after a successful search
- Episode Grid keys are ignored while entering search query
- Can select regions with Controller in the Editor
- Show the corners of the Social/Preferences menu when they're hidden but actually available
- Some palette changes for the Profile screen

Update 5 - September 25, 2016 (Click to open/close)

- Changes to several levels to remove enemies, change names etc.
- The 'reset episode' function works again
- The pause menu can be opened when dead (no more restarting the level when what you really wanted to do was ragequit)
- Some changes to try to fix some instances of progress getting corrupted.

I'm pretty annoyed that after a full month they have yet to address the myriad of issues with the editor. I really want to play the game more but I just can't work up the motivation to use that broken editor.

Yeah, the editor really broke my stride, but you get used to it after a while. Not being able to always see what tiles you're selecting, not being able to move a door switch without it going haywire, and not being able to place horizontal doors without a messy workaround are all quite annoying, but on the other hand, the copy and paste of tiles and objects at once is super sexy. And there are so many more ways to kill the ninj now.

Are individual splits still not recorded within the context of episode runs? If so, this is a very annoying issue (especially since they are aware of it.) If it's not fixed yet, I hope it is very soon.

Yep, it's still there. Also, scores matching your personal best (but not surpassing it) are still substituting old runs, making ties very risky.

Oh, come on... This is very sad news...
