So for my film class we got a freebie for this weeks project. We could do any scene we want or create our own. I created my own. Created from the top of my head during filming, I ended up with the following video:

Now this isn't the final cut, because there are some choppy scenes and the ending got cut off. I edited using PowerDirector 7 (dear god do not use this product) and filmed it with my new Sanyo WH1 camera. My camera does film in HD, but I cannot for the life of me get it to upload on youtube with said quality. Tomorrow I'm going to my schools editing lab which has a bunch of Macs with Final Cut Pro, so I'll be able to to re-edit this in a much cleaner, higher quality fashion. So other than the obvious poor image quality, any criticisms or comments?

I would like to see the girl and that guy to actually *run*. End was the best though, I pretty liked it.

1. Dude forgot his gun. Who forgets their gun? Nobody, that's who. I never felt sorry for him at all.
2. When Dude falls into the pool, there's that part when Girl With Legs walks up to the pool and the camera has water splashes on it. The position of the camera doesn't suggest that it would have been splashed at all and that was mildly odd. An underwater view of Girl With Legs peeking over the edge of the pool would have been much more awesome for that shot instead.
3. The part where Girl With Legs is upset and throws her arms down after losing a clear shot at Dude was somewhat adorable. Not sure how well cutoff denim shorts worked for her outfit but oh well.

1. Neither of them are very good at their jobs. By jobs I mean running away from people who are chasing you and chasing people who are running away from you, respectively.
2. I didn't notice the camera splashes until post-production when I wasn't able to film anymore. It was my first time using an underwater camera, so I'll remember to bring a cloth with me next time for the lens. Also it is very hard to see the view screen on the camer when I am underwater, mostly because all I see is my reflection on it. I was lucky to have gotten the shots I did.
3. Adorably evil.
I'm uploading a re-edited, higher quality video at the moment to youtube, so I'll post the new link when it's done. Note that the original link won't work until the new one is up.
