Which blogging software do you like/use the most?

This list includes both hosted blogging platforms like Google's Blogger as well as downloadable packages for your own site like Wordpress.

Wordpress. Even wordpress.com. What kind of idiot prefers Blogger over Wordpress? For that matter, what kind of idiot prefers any of those blogging platforms which are less extensible and less pretty? (Granted, Kubrick is getting tired by now, but still. If you want a blog, you use Wordpress.)

Used to use Blogger (several years ago), but was recommended Wordpress by several people for my own site and would thoroughly back up this recommendation. It's very customise-able, and extremely user-friendly.

I used Tumbler, Blogger, and Wordpress. Easily, Wordpress wins.

I, too, am interested.
Blogging is one particular area of the internet that I just do not give a goddamn about (and I give those out liberally). I just do not care, whatsoever. But I recently unsubscribed to Digg's RSS feed for Programming because it never has anything in it aside from neat tricks to do in WordPress, so I've always had the impression that WordPress is the Google of blogging platforms (if that's the right term for what it is).

It's probably because it's the most popular blogging platform that's not somewhere-else-hosted, and because there are *so many* tricks you can do with it. But recently it's gotten a lot of security updates...that might have been what scythe was talking about.
