Overclocking!

Hey.

I'm running This ram on this motherboard.

My understanding of the Mobo is that it only runs 1600 RAM fully when we overclock the RAM. Therefore, I want to do this to take full advantage of the RAM I paid for.

But I have no fucking clue how! Please help! :D

Hey, go into your BIOS and search around in there for RAM timings/frequency.

New problem.

I didn't change anything, first of all.

Now, starting today, when I play 3D games, (WoW and l4D2 were the two examples, games I have played at length on this PC earlier), the computer freezes and then stops after making a shuttering sound, although it is still on and the fans are still running. After this happens, it takes a long time before I can restart the computer. I turn off the power, turn it back on, and when I start it up if I went to soon, no display although the fans sound like they are running. (Hotter than usual.)

So, I ran a memory test, and the computer turned off in the middle of that, akin to the Wow l4d2 incidents) and would not start up even after a good while. So, I opened it up and checked the connections and it's on right now (how I am posting!) but I'm concerned.

Do you think it's related?

Go into your bios, find the RAM settings and tell me voltages and timings.

Knowing your CPU could also be handy.

Does it address all 4GB Of your RAM?
