I got it a few weeks ago, but I can't save what I made 'cause it's the free version.

I've used it a few times, but I'm really more of a tracker kind of guy.

I have the XXL edition and I love it to death, but I also have a cheap version of Cubase (though I don't use it a lot) and I use REAPER some too.

I am truly jealous. I use the demo version to make all my songs, and I may be getting the Express edition. I'd love XXL, but it's so damn expensive. Is it worth it?

See, I made around eleven songs with the demo version before realizing how much more awesome it would be if I didn't have to do the songs all in one sitting. Note: FL Express edition serves the purpose of a drum machine and not much else. You can't use the piano roll, or do chords... and your only options as far as (non-third-party-made) synths go are limited. XXL gets you Sytrus, free. Also, $300 seems expensive, but compare that with other DAWs... I chose buying FL mostly because it was the best bang for the buck, and I don't have a lot of bucks. Took several months for me to save up the dough, but if you like FL (and glancing the number of songs on your youtube profile leads me to believe that you do) the buy is completely worth it. (Just my view, you should really always check out as many different DAWs as you can before buying one(

Also, no offense, but you should really try making your own presets rather than using the ones that come with the software. I can name the ones you've used in "Viper" off the top of my head, without even opening FL... Eurorave and Lightspeed, I think. Looking through your other stuff I recognize a good portion of the instruments you use from various presets. Sytrus has a very steep learning curve but it's worth it to dive in and learn how to use it.

I use FL studio from time to time. I'm actually planning on regularly producing music once I get the hang of it (and after I finish AltArc and some other stuff I'm doing). Right now I use the demo, but I'm planning on getting the Fruity Loops edition someday.
