Ok, so a few weeks ago I decided to try and get some themes onto my PSP. I came across this new ".ctf themes" thing, so I tried using it and it didnt work. I needed custom firmware to use them, and to get that I had to get some hacking m33 stuff, and to get that I had to get to recovery mode, which I don't have becuase mine's a slim one. To get recovery mode I need a pandoras battery, and to get that I need 10 different files that I can't find anywhere. Seriously, why can't someone just tell Sony to stop being such killjoys and make them themselves? Then we wouldn't need to get like 30 different hacking programs just to make your PSP look nice.
BTW, even though this is my 1st post here, I had quite a few on the old forms so don't think I'm just some noob.
PSP custom firmware, and why it pisses me off.

I'm gonna stop the quote there because that's the most important part of it. Why, you ask> Because it's Sony. They are more concerned with seeing you pay money for games than actually improving their firmware wit some of the improvements found in CFW. For example, in CFW, you can shange the speed of your PSP, or have different plugins runnign (one for playing PSX games, others of other uses, ect.), or run homebrew stuff, like a text viewer or solitaire for PSP, or even PC ports for the PSP. These can be useful. Instead they force you to buy games using UMD's, since CFW lets you play ISO's. There are people who both buy the games and have CFW, you know, it's not that hard. I would recommend CFW. If you have friends who have a PSP with custom firmware, ask if they can help you hack yours, or borrow their PSP. You can hack it yourself, though, but be careful. Add me on your messenger if you want me to help you hack it. Look at my profile on the old forums for my ID's.uber wrote:Seriously, why can't someone just tell Sony to stop being such killjoys?
