The second one is better, but the pacing/posing is a little off IMO.

Personal Suggestion

I would have split the first panel into two.

The first one would have the pose in the original comic, and the words would go until the first GOD

The second one would have a more face-up ninja, with the arms either slightly or drastically raised (depending on the way you wanted to go, mine would probably be drastic), with a third line for emphasis. The rest of the words would go in that one.
