Hey, for media I'm doing a music video for my band that swaps between shots of close ups of parts of instruments on beats or notes.

that's a bit convoluted. basically, angle/video footage switches on beats.

but thing is, i need a bunch of videos I can say were inspiration, which is where it'd be cool if you guys could help me out.

So if any of you guys can think of any music videos that swap between shots a bunch on beats and all, it'd be great if you could link me, or tell me the artist/song

As it's going to be a basic vid of us playing a song in a room to a small audience, any band-in-room-playing-song basic kinda videos like that would be okay too, but my main problem is the swapping between footage stuff.

that's probably enough of the timing related ones to use, I actually need a few basic 'band playing in room' kinda ones, especially ones with the band setting up their gear beforehand if you know any!

You're welcome! :)

Here's another from Phoenix that changes angles on beats, but a little more subtly. Hope that works too.

Huh, that's weird. Must be because of that Vevo thing or whatever. Anyway, the song is called GfC by Albert Hammond, Jr. if you'd like to look it up. Also you've probably seen this but The White Stripe's song The Hardest Button to Button has that kind of beat oriented video as well. Here's a link (hopefully this works): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWe-7Cm1GHg

that works well, and i've been addicted to the song since i looked it up hahaha, and yeah, seen the white stripes one before, not quite right for what i need but thanks
hah, the showbread one is like a better one of what i'm planning to do which probably means i can't use it seeing as i have to argue my idea is not overly clichéd and original enough hah

the pomplamoose one works pretty well, i heard that on hypem a while ago but didn't know about the vid, heh thanksss
not quite right again, but thanks!!!!!!

thanks all. :) that's probably enough of the timing related ones to use, I actually need a few basic 'band playing in room' kinda ones, especially ones with the band setting up their gear beforehand if you know any!
