This is horrible. Some of these artists are actually respected...

I thought the first one had some good music. Claire de Lune, La Triviata, Full Moon, and Spotlight were all great tracks. I didn't really listen to the stuff Rob Pattinson did for the album, though.Spawn of Yanni wrote:The first one had a pretty respectable* soundtrack as well, didn't it?

Thanks for contributing.Yahoozy wrote:I hate all of you.
That's sellin' out, man! Listen to Ganteka, he knows!hairscapades wrote:Man, if the Twilight guys came to me and said, "Can you write a three minute song for our soundtrack and we'll give you <insert insane amount of money here>" I'd be all over that so fast. Why not?
No, making bad music stains their reputation. I haven't heard the soundtrack, but if the songs are decent (would you like them if they were entirely dissociated from Twilight?), there's nothing wrong with making a buck.Amadeus wrote:Hey, I'm not saying I wouldn't "sell out" either or whatever, I'm just saying, it kinda stains their reputation.
I don't dislike the music, I dislike how they're presented, and associated with.ghoulash wrote:No, making bad music stains their reputation. Fuck yeah Inspired! Now you know why I love that band. Perfect theater-cleaning music.Inspired wrote:'Meet me on the equinox' was the song I had to listen to while cleaning up the cinema for 2 months.
Hahaha, no respect.xVxCrushloaderusSupremusxVx wrote:I've seen the movies.
With RiffTrax, mind you. I am a thinking organism. I wouldn't have made it all the way through unaided.ghoulash wrote:Hahaha, no respect.xVxCrushloaderusSupremusxVx wrote:I've seen the movies.

I've got to say, as much as the music wasn't all that horrible, Pattison's stuff was just strange and contrary to the rest of the movie. The feel that it had didn't suit the surroundings of the film, and the sweet song which he was meant to write for Bella in the first movie was perhaps the most un-pretty example of music which I have heard since I broke my headphones and attempted to listen to a rendition of white noise.capt_weasle wrote:I thought the first one had some good music.
