How hard is it to find accurate tabs for guitar?

It's incredibly tedious when I try look for tabs and the ones there are either shit or for 'Guitar Pro' or are 'Power Tab's which I can't enable. Like most of Joe Satriani's guitar pieces are like that or the tabs given are very limited.
Of course not all tabs are like that, lots tabs are of pretty good quality, but that's because they're pretty easy to work out. For hardcore rock guitar stuff like Satch or Van Halen the tabs are mainly all limited or of poor quality.
Anyone got any good sites with the solution?
Discuss.

ultimate-guitar.com is the best resource available, however, even they have some power tabs.

Yeah, ultimate-guitar is the main website I use :/
It probably is the best guitar resources site, but yeah, it's got the odd power tab and guitar pro around.

I can usually find a good version of the tab that isn't Guitar Pro or Power Tab.
I usually stay around the Metallica and Nirvana sections though. Eddie and Joe are too good for me to try to play, haha.

For all of you who don't have GP or Power Tab:
http://tuxguitar.herac.com.ar/
It's free, and reads gp and ptb files, as well as several other odd formats.
