Nice! I caught it this week. Try and give us some extra notice each week so I can plan better to listen.

Also, if you get a chance, if you could play some Forest and the Fire or Noctambulant to pay homage to our hometown heroes here, I think that'd be extremely neat.

It's not really spamming. He posts once a week to remind people his show is on. It has been useful to me multiple times.

I think it -is- spam. First of all, it's advertisement, in the strictest sense, and secondly, 12 posts to remind us of a radio show that has a regular time seems unnecessary.

People are going to check these forums less frequently than they'd check media sources. If you like the radio show, try tuning in when you have time to listen and see if it's on. Making posts like this, however, is completely useless.

I'm all in favour of moving this straight to discussion.

To add my two bits though, I haven't actually listened to it (time zones + school = a pain), but if I was on the forum and looked at this topic to see it was on right now, I'd give it a listen (though unlikely, because of time zones). I think if there were more people posting in between then it would no longer be double-posting (/dodeca-uple-posting), and we wouldn't see it as spam.
Sort of like me updating my comic all the time - that's not spam because there's new content. I think the reminder is good, but more people should post here so it's not continually lots of you posting continuously.

If this is just meaningless ramble, which is quite possibly is, sorry. I'm tired, but thought I'd try and contribute anyways.

It's cool if it's just once when the radio show is about to go on but it's unnecessary to post at 9:50 pm, 10:05 pm AND 11:04 pm.

Where is the content of his post? I think the best thing he could do that would resolve this whole situation is to post the podcast of last week's radio show as he announces this weeks. We'll get new content, and he'll get to advertise.

And just for clarification, the rules in the Webcomics forum don't apply to the entire forum. It's a special place full of special people, and cute drawings.
