just wondering really, who likes metal and if so, what metal they like.

Used to. I still like a few bits and pieces. Cowboys From Hell by Pantera is brilliant, White Pony by Deftones is a work of art.... I can't really remember much else I enjoy any more.

Glassjaw are one of my favourite bands, but they're more alternative hardcore or something.

I like some Thrash, like Metallica, Megadeth, and Testament. Oh, and Pantera.

I also used to be into Lamb of God, Slayer, Children of Bodom and Mastodon, all of whom I saw live.

Edit: And Iron Maiden! Who could forget Iron Maiden!

and i'm into a lot of music, but mostly metal.

oh yeah, and i heard atob's band on myspace, they are pretty damn good.

ive got a metal band piecing slowly together but we need to start practicing more.

meh... I had a faze. but now its classical rock, old school rock and techno.

All sorts of metal for me. From Cannibal Corpse to Black Sabbath.

I like everything from grindcore to Zepplin.

I used to be completely madly into metal. Me and my friends started a thrash band when we were 16. That fell apart, but 2 of us then formed a technical death metal band. But yeah, everything about metal I love. You're just more likely to find me listening to something else nowadays.

I like Aluminium, but unfortunately many Americans can't pronounce it decently.

As to music... nah. It's one of the few genres that I mostly dislike. Though if anyone's heard the Imperial March played by electric guitars... that's pretty sweet.

I like metal.

My favorites are Dark Tranquillity, Death, Megadeth and Meshuggah. I'm still trying to get into a lot of other metal genres.

I went and saw Parkway Drive last saturday...that was amazing!

I dig metal sooooo much at the moment, I'm especially into some of the more alternative stuff, like System of a Down, and some of Megadeth's stranger stuff.

Oh, lenny, make sure you ehar the MJOLNIR mix of the halo theme. It's epic.

Yeah AILD is the best out of all of them. Their latest album, An Ocean Between Us, is the best metal album I've ever seen.

yeah, i love that album and shadows are security. I like the first one but its just not up to the amazing standard as the other two. AILD, just the best band in the world. imo.

I'm down with the metal, especially drone and doom. Boris is probably my favorite band of either of those genres. Other favorites are Isis, Jesu, Earth, Nadja, and Sunn O))). I like black metal, as well, especially Xasthur, Deathspell Omega, and Weakling. Stoner metal also makes some appearances in my library, namely Om and Electric Wizard.
