Any way we can get some mixtapes going and stay within the law?

I know a bunch of sites (say, The World's Best Ever) sidestep the piracy thing by putting every track into one very long mp3, with a pause of a second or two between each track. Very easy to do with audacity. Can we do the same thing here?

I can't imagine that would have any effect on the legality of it. I mean, it's all still going to be there, so if it's copyright infringement it's copyright infringement.
