Nine Inch Nails, but that's a given.

I do like electronica, actually. I've got some good electronica stuff around on ITunes, notably Robert Miles and Jean-Michel Jarre.

sifting through last.fm has brought me to Royksopp, two Norweigian electronic artists (although their songs, mainly "Happy Up Here" are very light electronic music, or perhaps electropop), Maxwithmax, a breakcore artist, virt, an 8-bit artist, and Lustmord and Atrium Carceri, both dark ambient artists. I've been hooked on Noisia lately, who I find contendable with Venetian Snares.

they are all very, very good, to be frank.

This and this for sure.

I have a Pandora station that is electronica-based. It's basically perfect.

Portishead, or at least that specific song, reminds me very much of Dr. Octagon, who was more of an Acid Rap/Trip-hop artist.

Bumping because this guy makes pretty much every form of electronic music out there (DnB, rave, breakcore, electronica, dubstep, gabber, happy hardcore, speedcore, chiptune, and orchestral).

would 8bit or chiptune be classified in any of this?

For me, mainly 8bit and Chiptune although, throw any Breakcore, Ambient or House my way and I'll be happy.

I have no idea what music I said I liked when I last posted in this topic (and can't be bothered trying to find that post), but at the moment I'm listening to the Ministry of Sound, Deadmau5, The Bloody Beetroots, and as always, Pendulum.
