That's not ineria. Inertia would make you fly through it at the exact momentum you ent4ered it, not slow you down. What's going on?

Inertia field could simply mean it cancels out inertia. What would really be fun though is a gravity inverting switch. That would rock.

it would also be cool if there was a kind that could slow down enemies and their weapons, then make someone panic about thinking they're going to die while running past a hidden one :D

Where is it called an inertia drone? It's called a Force Field Drone in XBox360 version at least is it not?
Also, how is that incorrect? An object [at rest/in motion] will stay [at rest/in motion] unless acted on by an external force. The drone provides the outside force. I see no problem?

?
The thing BionicCryonic is talking about isn't a drone, it's a blue, stationary 'field'. (that looks kind of like water.)

O____O
Did DS get different enemies or something?

Yeah. There are no rotating laser drones, force field drones, or electric doors. There are timed mines and inertia fields. No new moving enemies either, unless you count the ability to put floorguards on the ceiling as a new enemy.

The drone and field are completely different things. the field is an oblect that only slows you down when you're in it. The drone moves and pushes you away when you get too close
