I'm implimenting a creature feature.
I will be signing up for 2 times a month, the 8th of each month will be a my creature feature date. If you have a map and a review you want to submit place a link to the map and a review in a spoiler and I will read over them and if they are of a good quality, between 50 and 99 words and meet all the other needed requirements I will post them.
Here is a chance to put your money where you mouth is.
Happy writing and good luck.

dis map, dis map.
I had no idea what the specifications are for reviews, so I made something up quickly. I hope it fits the parameters.Whoosh. A thwump swings toward you. Avoiding it, you jump through them, trying not to get electrocuted by the glowing blue voltage on their sides. You get the gold, watching the enemies warily. Quickly, you pass to the other chamber, where yet more of those malevolent squares await you. You jump on the foes' undamaging sides to get the switch, then run as fast as you can to the exit, not caring about the glittering chunks of metal scattered around the chamber.
That was fun.

Dude, we already have a Creature Feature thread. Even though this is a nice effort on your part, it's unnecessary. :/

The year is 2638.
The great governments of the world have fallen and a gang of aliens have taken over what used to be Manhattan. Their only threat is a rebel league of civilians.
That's where you come in.
You were assigned by higher-ups to infiltrate their base and kill their leader. Inside, you must avoid their deadly robotic watchmen.
You take your first step-- a guard spotted you! You barely escape death. After a treacherous climb to obtain a key, you see a rocket heading your way! You dodge quickly, preparing for the next enemy.
If you aren't remembered, then you never existed.

Although nevershine's mappack Megalith was a runaway success (seriously, go play it), there was definitely something that was missing from the masterpiece, some big empty hole.
That something was hexagons.
But out of the blue came (url=nmaps.net/user/shortshift)shortshift(/url), like a flaming arrow of majesty. He has been blessing NUMA for years, and this is one of his finest creations to date. A simple but wonderfully elegant structure based around this gorgeous polygon really stands out from the large, winding adventures of the main shortshift archive, and it very well represents the ultimate monument for Megalith.
Which begs the question: were the Great Pyramids a work of aliens, or just shortshoft messin' around with shapes?
