Nreality userlevels is my preference, mainly because you can easily submit your highscores.

Debug. Never use Nreality, so I have no reason to be in userlevels.
I play packs in userlevels.

debug, unless i'm in nreality for some reason, like if i was going to be playing some nreality maps anyway. i generally don't map in nreality, because i have a tendency to get a blank flash player with "your flash player may have been running with an abnormally speed" displaying where my beautiful map used to be.

I play my NUMA levels in my userlevels, since they are there along with all the countless maps I haven't submitted.
I play NUMA levels on NReality because of the highscore submission system and the fact that you only have to press {spacebar} instead of ~ R tab tab 1 P with caps lock on.
For anything else, though, I use N. userlevels for packs, and obviously debug for mapping :p I never map in NReality. Too many horror stories about Flash crashing, which has never happened to me in N.

Nreality userlevels. Much less hassle, plus it has an inbuilt highscoring system :)

Debug. Packs of course go into userleves.

debug mode. Sometimes I tend to put all my favourites in my .txt file or something like that. Packs go into userlevels as well.

I agree with heatwave that Userlevels is more convenient, but only in the long run - say, if you're looking to make a fast demo. There's no denying that pressing the Spacebar between plays is way easier than ~ + R + 1 + CapsLk + P + CapsLk, no matter how good you are at the latter.
And yet, I use debug (even when recording demos) because it makes loading the level faster. In my defense, this is because I don't often see myself trying to make a fast demo.

debug more just because it takes more than a minute (or less) to play my map in userlevels.

Always in debug. It's great especially since I suck and I can just respawn after I die without having to start over.

I play all my maps in debug; so much easier. Plus, I've got use to Home + \ + r + p.
I play NUMA maps and mappacks in nreality userlevels though.

Userlevels.
Way easier, and I can return to maps whenever I want. I generally don't want to download maps which are done after single run. Exceptions are really good races. I even test my levels in userllevels, the hassle to retry the level is too big to me. Especially considering the types of maps I like to play.

So you make the whole map before ever playtesting it? o_O
I do another playtest for nearly every object or tile I add or subtract.

I usually build the map, playtest, then edit and repeat this cycle until I'm satisfied. DDAs are exception.

Most of my casual mapping is done this way. I still make them in debug, but I almost never have to playtest maps.
Same thing with maps on NUMA. I don't actually *play* maps anymore - I just look at them and see how they would play and rate them accordingly.

Play NUMA levels on NReality, since I just have to put the number and voilá
Play mappacks in userlevels, obviously. One n_v14/Nreality folder per mappack (being nreality or n_v14 is random)
