<&SlappyMcGee> We set up a program, I don't quite know how, that compiles every map made each day into a txt. file for simple consumption for userlevels. That way people can play a bunch of levels quickly and we could include links in it somehow for easy rating.
<&SlappyMcGee> It can't be too hard to set up.
Well?

Oh, also, by program, I meant code for NUMA. OIbviouslyidasfajk.

<&SlappyMcGee> The program would just be code for NUMA.
<@Yahoozy> Slaps: http://forum.droni.es/viewtopic.php?f=8 ... 64#p110264
<&SlappyMcGee> Program is not the correct term.
<&Yanni> Right. Where would rating links come in?
<&SlappyMcGee> A second text file?
<Tunc> Possible?
<&SlappyMcGee> Compiled by a second code?
<Tunc> That would be cool.
<&SlappyMcGee> Fuck you ask too many questions Yanni.
<&Yanni> Haha.
<Tunc> Or a text file which includes all of it.
<&SlappyMcGee> Yahoozy, this guy is hideous.
<squibbles> what if it was on NUMA?
<&SlappyMcGee> The Skyline I imagined was attractive.
<&SlappyMcGee> that's the point.
<@Yahoozy> Yeah, imagine yourself having gay sex with this guy.
<squibbles> You click a button, it saves the days maps to your userlevels file
<@Yahoozy> IMAGINE IT.
<@Yahoozy> TAKE IT!!!!!!!!!
<squibbles> and opens a page with links to all of them
<&SlappyMcGee> EXACTLY WHAT I AM FUCKING SAYING.
<squibbles> oh. >.<
<squibbles> oh, I missed "The program would just be code for NUMA."
<squibbles> my bad
<squibbles> :/
<&SlappyMcGee> Yahoozy; http://quotes.maestrosync.com/view.php?1682
<@Yahoozy> AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
<rn> squib: I intend to come back.
<@Yahoozy> Slaps, it would have been better had you not had <Ghandi>.
<&SlappyMcGee> I think that aspect is the best part.

I think that this is a good idea and would be really easy to people to play maps in userlevels but I don't see a reason not just entering the map ID to NReality's userlevels option. If this happens it would be really handy for people who uses userlevels, anyway, I don't.

However, I support this idea.

I don't use Nreality because it is unstable. I didn't suggest this in the Nreality forums, either.

I'm not sure why anyone would want this. If it could be adapted to where I could grab all of Pheidi's maps this month or something... but I don't really want /all/ the maps. For that I can just get on NUMA.

Please explain more.

Well, it would give you all of the maps over a certain interval of time directly into N. Right now, if you want to play every map in a day, you would have to copy-paste the level data of each one a hundred times. That would be insane. Now, this doesn't require you to play every map, but it gives you the entire selection to choose from with simply a click. Each day, you pop this into your userlevels.txt, and you've got a day worth of gaming.

Um... what about the obvious solution?
http://www.nmaps.net/userlevels?count=100
It doesn't allow for ease of rating, but it does quickly get you the latest NUMA maps.

Also, Slappy, why is NReality unstable on your system? Have you tried the latest version? Srsly, playing maps from NUMA is the shit, you gotta get in on that. (Not to mention the other features)

I thought the float-system and taking the emphasis off of ratings was to encourage comments? Is that not we're after with NUMA?

Oh, excellent! I am glad this already exists.

And Nreality might have extra features, but I don't like them or use them. They kind of defeat the idea of what N is for me. If you are given three rules, and you have to follow those rules while making a map, and you make a truly original map from within those rules, it is more impressive than if you made a better map with no rules, I find. If you catch my meaning.

I have no idea what Blackson is talking about.
