How many maps actually exist on NUMA?

When entering random number combinations in NReality's Userlevels to load a random map to play, quite a lot of the time there won't be any map to load. An awful lot of maps have been deleted from NUMA, and I'm curious to see how close to the 200,000 map mark we actually are.
This question is directed more at the admins of NUMA: how many maps are there on NUMA that haven't been deleted?

If I remember correctly at last check (80,000 or so), there were less than 40% maps on NUMA.

Oh that's interesting. I was expecting at least somewhere near the 150,000 mark.

I believe LV said once that there was a rough estimate before NEWMA where 1/3 maps were rated, 1/3 maps were unrated and 1/3 maps were deleted.

That means about 2/3 maps submitted before NEWMA are still around. If we became NEWMA around 126,000, that means there were about 84000 maps present on NUMA. Then add 72,000 maps to that (74,000 to get to 200,000, subtracting the 2,000 that bumajani spammed that were deleted from the archive), and we have about 156,000 maps, give or take a thousand or so, by map 200,000.

Back in the day, it was really trendy to delete your maps. I'm not surprised at all if less than 40% of the current map number actually exists.
