Okay, I'm starting a new thread for a new year, and promise monthly updates. Lock the old thread. Fair enough? Also, can I request a pin?

This time, I've compiled statistics on all of the Authors from the dawn of time to 4th January 2010, and all of the data is available on an Excel spreadsheet. Anyone who knows any corrections is welcome to make them and PM me the corrected version. Here's some colorful images for those who don't have Office 2007.

Once again, nice lists. So many people have features now that the week of reviews is over.

How are most maps generated? You aren't counting map packs too are you?

Good to see these back up.

@rocket_thumped above, these are the Nmaps.net stats, not overall N stats. I think it would take years to go through everyone's map packs removing the maps they've added to NUMA etc... to work out an actual value for all of those.

Then Evil_Bob shouldn't be at 836 should he?

I'm not counting map packs, but I /am/ counting any maps that have been deleted. Evil_bob deleted a load, hence the massive number. Also, multi-accounts are being merged, and if anyone could link Ganteka's older account, I'd be pleased.

I also have a feature and have been on Numa for over a year.
Or am I missing something...?

Has 327 maps
Has 318 maps
Again, am I missing something? Are you just counting the old-school authors?

I feel that this is wrong, GTM.
Should you also count the various multi-accounts that various authors have held over time? Or collab accounts? I think you should simply stick with the number of maps that are in the authors archive and not add hundreds of maps to their total when those maps no longer exist in the archive.

I agree with the deleted maps part, but I do think multi-accounts should count towards the map total.

You are actually. Only authors with at least three featured maps are counted.

Agreed.

Always interesting to look at.

The only list I'm anywhere near pwning is "least recently featured", lol.

I'd have around 1750 maps if you counted deleted maps.

Same, I would have many more maps if deleted maps were counted.

On the old (better) NUMA we could see such stats. I don't know if it still stands, but wedgie123 used to be the person with the most ratings/map: 61.

*Stands strong at 6/map*.

Although this isn't stated anywhere, it's easy to find out. Total ratings / total maps (although a while ago the total ratings stopped working :x).

Total Ratings still works. Rated Maps doesn't.

No no, Blackson means how many ratings other people have given you, not how many ratings you've given other people. It used to be that NUMA would only show how many ratings that you've received, as you probably well know, AMLT, but Arachnid changed that for some reason. I don't know why we couldn't have both. :/
