For some time now, I have heard that N and consequentially NUMA are declining. I say that there is nothing to worry about. When Robotology and Office Yeti come out, I predict a huge flood of new comers. Just as the N fan group will most surely play Robotology and Office Yeti, others who start with the previous mentioned will most likely take a gander at N. Robotology and Office Yeti will be the gateway drugs, and the huge number of new people and ideas will bring a new glorious age for N and NUMA!

...that's great...
Yeah. It's true though. NUMA is declining. The forums are losing members faster than we're gaining them. The move lost us /so/ many members that didn't like the new community, or didn't want to move.
I, however, don't think that officeyeti will bring that many people. Robotology a few more.
Say, will office yeti be anything like yetisports?

At this rate though, these games won't be released for another year or two. I can see Robotology coming out maybe next year between October and December. As for Office Yeti, that's a side project I believe and as such it will get very little attention until Robotology is completed. This "New Era" is still a ways off.
I also think that it's a bit odd to assume that the community will be somehow better with new people. There are all sorts of people who play video games and I can see a fair share of assholes coming here thinking they can troll and be general dicks. Whatever hope there is that this community will somehow be better with other people is sort of unfounded to me. It will just be a different community, supporting 2 entirely different games.

So the "New Era" will start about the first or first few months of 2012.
Also Robotology and Office Yeti will bring new projects (such as big ones as numa) and new highscore servers (such as Unreality's) and exc. That would be pretty exciting, and if there will be people from the old forums, (which I mean members like Dave who has been here since the beginning) and still active, I would be surprised.
