A topic to gather a full list of all the maps that made it to 100 rates or more. And sorry, the cut-off is at 100, any below is excluded or else this list would be way too long to handle. To those that say comments are more important in 'Newma', I agree, but I'm collecting a full list, not suggesting we do a massive collab, or anything to make a new map reach 100. So bite me, I don't care anymore about those comments (if you decide after I post this edit to tell me again), because I've heard it so many times already, and believe it myself as well.

In conclusion, I present you with a gathering of maps:

If there are any errors, please tell me.

Also, this is a list of maps with a great number of ratings, and does not entirely represent all of the best mapmakers on NUMA. Making it to a 100 nowadays is difficult, and mostly unachievable, meaning the actual best won't make it on this list. If your one of these I'm sorry, and I hope you understand.

QFE to both of the above. Also, there used to be a way to sort all maps on NUMA by the number of votes they've gotten, but that bit of hacking was lost in the transition to NewMA. Either way, nobody who's anybody cares about ratings. If that's why you're making maps, you need to readjust your priorities.

This would thread would actually be interesting if you put in the links to the maps and the map type (like playable, dda or nart) after it.

I think these kind of stats are quite interesting but they are in no way a measure of quality. Especially since you yourself admitted it is mainly only nartists and dda makers who can make it excluding the majority of mappers who make actual playable maps the main type so calling your list the best of the best sounds ignorant and arrogant.

Please also include the links thanks.

The most I've got is 16 (that was when NUMA was a cooler place) but I know that my maps are well liked. I don't need hundreds of rates to get this. N-arts do get more attention, but I haven't got time on my hands.

I map for comments.

Thanks for all the lists of maps and advice.
Please be aware that if I do not get to it quickly, it does not mean I will not do it, and it definitely does not mean I will forget about it.

Its a lot of work, but I will do it all, I have the motivation. =P

Well, if this is a thread about your most rated map, mine's a dda. And it's the only proper dda I've ever made. In fact, I'm surprised that this got above 10 rates, let alone 25.

Maps seldom make it over 100 rates since newma's initiation. When top-rated was still in existence it was common for maps to have high ratings.

With Newma, 100 ratings seems to be an unrealistic goal, at least not unless it is featured, and already very well rated when released. Or by Espada.

I personally have two well rated maps, that is, over 30 ratings, and I am absolutely stoked to have achieved this, especially as one is a playable action. The point I'm trying to make is, don't see maps at 100 rates from the Oldma age, and think that that is the standard for high quality maps. Maps of the same quality are made now, and the bar hasn't been lowered...the community have just taken off their spring-shoes.

I have 4 maps with more than 100 votes, I believe. Good luck finding them.
Also I'm sure Dragon_Moon has at least 10 maps with more than 100 votes.

Ratings mean tiddly-squat these days.

Actually, when I add an author to the list, I check through all his maps for maps with ratings over 100. I think the only person I didnt check all his maps is espada777777 because he has a ton of maps... i've checked through all his recent n-arts to the point where he made action maps though. =P

progress through the lists is very slow though =P
