What happened to Ryzor? Normally, I'm the last one to miss out on the site gossip, but he delisted all of his maps and left the following message:

"To those of you that were actually not elitist dicks, have a nice life.

To the rest, go fuck yourselves."

Fill me in plz?

Uh, it doesn't sound like there is much to explain. He got pissed off, threw a hissy, and left.

Well duh. I figured that much out myself. Question is Why?

the only way to find out is to get the identity number of his more recent maps.

And I think it would help if you actually said that where he said that. And do mods and people have the magical ability to check comments and posts for stuff like that? And on NUMA? That would defintely help. And strange, not exactly the way Mr_Lim left was it?

Well call me a dumbas cuase I have no freakin idea.

There's nothing written on any of his most recent maps to suggest a particular conflict that lead to his decision to leave.

Either of three possibilities

>There are no maps to comment on as they were delisted by mods, permenantly.
>The conflict happened somewhere other than the maps, perhaps irc or an encounter on the forums
>Third possibility

I believe he left because he got too pissed off with certain members of the community. OF course, that's just partial speculation.

question, I saw a reference to mr. lim, and am wondering; did he ever make any maps? was he on the forums?

He was an active member on the old forums before retiring. I can't remember him making any maps though.

i have a tileset nart map from mr lim, or someone like that.

What profile? There's no hyperlink in his NUMA profile, he doesn't seem to have registered on these new forums, and I think if you meant the old forums you would have said so. So where are you looking?

On nmaps itself. There's a link on his name on the first post of this topic.

D'oh! I get it. He was responding to RikaNinja.

Btw, you can still find maps by Ryzor by googling ["author ryzor" site:nmaps.net], but I don't know how early or late those maps were in his mapping career, and I don't see any big arguments on the first 5 or so maps on the list.

I'm still quite curious as to what caused that. It seems like it was caused by a singular or repeated event, not just because.
