It'd be great if I got N Player of the year, having almost tripled my speedrun level 0th count over about 3-4 months. During this period I clocked a few highscore 0ths aswell. Not to mention my 110 ep. 0ths and 550963 total level frame count. Just sayin'.

Thanks to furry for this awesome sig. He likes birds, he does.

when you don't put the map in url format, and simply write its name - or even say "this one map that so and so made with rockets"...
if you are too lazy to do it the right way and get the url, what makes you think whoever is counting the results will?

Ok I have to ask, I think the rule about the Run of the Year can not be FBFed or underclocked might have to be suspended because while there were some great real time runs this year, but clearly Raif's 88-4 Manually Built Demo is the best run of the year; at least in my opinion. For the higher ups that don't know what Manually Built Demos mean, it is the process of actually building the replay data by hand in code format. I have done some of this my self and I can tell you that is definitely hard and is by no means cheating since he doesn't try to pass of his runs as real time. But I have to ask can his run be considered for Run of the Year? The demo data is below if you don't want to go hunting for it.Izzy wrote:Don't forget moh (he has a metanet highscore 0ths if sick mbd's aren't enough)moonlight wrote:Van seemed like he had the main impact for POTY for me.
EDIT: Also the rule does only state that the run can not be FBFed or Underclocked, which it is neither.

I sign under this. However I think 81-1 is more stunning. We can make a voting between those 2.TheRealOne wrote:Ok I have to ask, I think the rule about the Run of the Year can not be FBFed or underclocked might have to be suspended because while there were some great real time runs this year, but clearly Raif's 88-4 Manually Built Demo is the best run of the year; at least in my opinion. I don't want to start a flame war, but you need to temper your ego; highscore 0ths? What? You mean on the NReality levels? Big deal... they are a dime a dozen, and I just took your 110-4 sr by over a second to prove it. Not only are are a lot of those runs not clean or the levels very competitive; but if you check the time stamps, a lot of your runs were made in 2009. Vankusss has been the best player this year. PERIOD.OutrightOJ wrote:It'd be great if I got N Player of the year, having almost tripled my speedrun level 0th count over about 3-4 months. During this period I clocked a few highscore 0ths aswell. update fine sirs,
Dronies voting stage has started
http://dronies.sidke.net/
the nominations have been counted... and after a set of tiebreaking rounds we now have your 2010 Dronies nominations to vote on!
for the voting stage, once you submit your voting form, it is final, so make sure to fill out the whole form in one go
also, there is no fan program to vote on since there was only one program (besides teleditor and modmaster which were not applicable) that was nominated...

but 01:25] <skalalalala> the links are wrong
[01:25] <skalalalala> they shouldn't have the www at the start
and I can't believe the 88-4 run didn't get enough nominations... guess everybody thought it was a shoe-in and used the nominations elsewhere :S
Edit: are you allowed to vote for things you contributed to/made or should I leave it blank?

I feel obligated to point out that under nart of the year, the third post errored a bit. RavenMac made Dragon, not someone named dragon who made why cant I melt.
Other than that, I am most surprised that there are only three maps per category, whereas last year had five.
Lastly though, thanks sidke for doing all this :)
