Meh, I'm blackson, gloomp, kamikaze3000, Jeremy Paxman and Stephen Fry. I decided to give up using mintnut on numa because it was just too darned confusing, and I'm getting on a bit. I sometimes have conversations with myself on IRC just to fox you guys.

In the old days if multiple accounts were used to rate one users map, the punishment was one to two week ban, plus all ratings wiped. Shouldn't something similar be enforced here?

There's really no reason to do it anymore. Top rated is gone, and so is average author rating. The only reason I can see would be to give your map a better float on the hot maps, and if you do that, then that's just sad. Make a good map and it will get attention. You even disable ratings on your maps and they receive many comments.
