Ive been trying out a new style for a while, and I havent decided whether I wanted to keep it yet or not. Influence my decision!

I can't choose from any of those options. If it works for you, I say, stick with it... but to avoid repetition, don't use it over and over and over again, especially in a row.

I feel the gameplay is fine. However the tiles seem a bit forced to me, kinda like your trying too hard to make them look cool. I think you are breaking the tiles into to many tiny shapes seperated by a half-square space.

Hmm, I do agree with you on the half tile space thing. Ill work on it.

Shouldn't it be up to you to decide what style to use?
But I do like what you've come up with. Not the most original, but works for what it's worth.

you should vary your style as much as possible.

I kinda agree that variety of gameplay is important, but changing your style just for the sake of it isnt necessary imo. After all, isnt getting good at one style better than making average maps in every style?

Variety is the spice of life.

Oops, I didn't see that last post by GTM right above this. In that case, I agree with Kablizzy 500%.

Jesus Good flippin' GOD no. Making 150 copies of the same map is awful.

Change your style. So then I can use circles without looking like you.

Just kidding, I couldn't care less. But dont limit yourself to one thing or else you'll become boring and obsolete.

This isn't/shouldn't be a community affair. Decide on your own.

Well I like it, looks nice and seems to play nice. But I have to agree, using it all the time would become boring. And blackson is right, there is no reason for me or anything/one else to be here. I'm sure someone of your experience and standard could sort things out. But I personally like the square concept, it's really thinking outside the square, litterally.

Hmmm, thanks for the feedback. I havent really thought about commiting to a style before, so I decided to take it to the forums to see whether not only the style I used was good, but alsoi whether I should have a style at all. I definitely dont want to pull a blackwhite (no offense to blackwhite ;]) but then again I hated making seemingly random maps without any consistency.

Ive decided not to make it my style, seeing as I tried making a map with it and saw the aesthetics were already limiting the gameplay.
