Okay, basically I made a tile art of the companion cube, because I thought the tiles would be cool to work with and w/e. As son as a post it, or near enough, I find out that another mapper made an n-art of the companion cube out of door switches and mines. I then get falsely accused of plagarising someone else's work, despite the fact that Ive never seen it before. Wtf? Heres the two maps for comparison.

So, is this plagarism?

i really don't see how this is plagarism. they are based on the same theme, but not completely alike.

Of course it's not plagiarism. If you didn't copy it, you didn't copy it, nothing else to it. You have every right to ignore anyone who accuses you. It's not exactly a rare topic, either.



You shouldn't make topics about this sort of stuff, though. It draws unnecessary attention to the situation, and makes it seem like you're trying to cover something up.

Edit: Keep in mind that you were accused by only two people, and those two people were rule and Evil_Sire.

How is exposing something to a wider audience covering it up, out of interest? Other than that, yeah you guys are probably right. Just wanted to get this off my chest. Lock/trash if you want.

Nah, that's not plagiarism at all. They're two completely different things with a circumstantial theme.

This is all getting a bit pointless now. I think we've established what's what.
